Along with a Gambian expeditionary team, in the Winter of 2011 Julian Monroe Fisher FRGS FI’00, a noted adventurer and explorer, Cultural Anthropologist, published author, documentary filmmaker, Fellow with The Royal Geographical Society (with The Institute of British Geographers) and an International Fellow with the Explorers Club in New York City, will attempt an overland journey from the source of the Gambia River to the Atlantic Ocean.
