BIOGRAPHICAL
Julian Monroe Fisher is an explorer and adventurer. Julian is also an Anthropologist, photographer, documentary filmmaker, published author, Fellow with The Royal Geographical Society in London (with the Institute of British Geographers) and an elected member of The Explorer’s Club in New York City. He was born in the state of South Carolina in the United States. Since 2005 Julian has Austrian residency and lives with his Austrian wife Regina and their two children Charley and Panama in the village of Thunau am Kamp.

THE EXHIBIT
From 1996 through 2007 Julian Monroe Fisher has travelled the globe as an adventurer, explorer, newspaper features reporter and radio network correspondent. To date his travels have taken him to more than eighty countries on five continents. life on earth - A Photographic Exhibition by Julian Monroe Fisher presents previously unpublished images of people and places from those travels.

LOCATION
Gars Am Kamp is located in the Niederösterreich Region of Austria, 1.5 hours from Vienna by train or 1 hour by car. The museum is located just off the main square. The event is on Saturday, October 6, 2007, and begins at 7pm/19:00. The opening is part of "Lange Nacht der Museen" (The Night of the Museum), a coordinated cultural program that takes place that evening at museums across Austria.
